Planning & prerequisites
Culture and Society is a 100-level course with no prerequisites and will be offered during the spring semester of each academic year.
What you will learn
During the Culture and Society course at Viaa you will study from the perspective you are living in now. That is learn to look at art through the eyes of the artist and you learn how the European identity is reflected in artworks and the importance of the works in culture and history. The course contains a lot of fieldtrips to view the various artworks ‘live’. Culture and Society is a 100-level course and will be offered during the spring semester. During the course you will have lectures, presentations of classmates, readings and fieldtrips.
