Modern Theology
Studying Modern Theology at Viaa
In 1900 it seemed that theology had a complete horizontal perspective. God was out of sight. Was theology still relevant? The great Swiss theologian Karl Barth rediscovered the importance of theology as a transcendent way of speaking about God. This does not mean we cannot have questions about God or Scripture. That is Modern Theology.
