Teacher in Europe Conference 2022: How to practise United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the classroom
Teacher in Europe is an international student conference for future teachers primary and secondary education from all over Europe. This year’s theme is: “How to practise United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in the classroom”. There will be 2 or 3 keynotes and several workshops on this theme. You have the option to participate online or to participate live in Zwolle.

During the conference students follow workshops but are also working in an international group of 5 or 6 students from various nationalities. You will be making a lesson series that you may use as teacher (or intern) in your classroom. All teams will be coached by one of the teachers. The project plan for the lesson series will be presented to other groups for peer review. Thursday evening there will be a programme in Zwolle where you can enjoy the city with the other students, get a taste of Dutch culture and share it with students from various nationalities.
Costs?
Online participation: € 25,-
Participation ‘live’ in Zwolle: € 75,- (2 overnights included)
(for students from KPZ, Viaa and HU participation is free)
Meals and possible overnight stay
For students who come from far, overnight accommodation can be arranged in the Summercamp in Heino (Wednesday night and Thursday night). Bus transport to and from the Summercamp to the conference venue will be arranged. If you want to make use of this, you must sign up for the accommodation in the registration form.
