For the third year in a row, Viaa University of Applied Sciences has been recognized as the Best Mid-Sized University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. The 2025 ‘Keuzegids’ notes: “Students are consistently very satisfied with the lecturers, atmosphere, and career preparation at Viaa.”

This result reaffirms Viaa as the place to be for top-quality study programs. Programs such as Primary School Education (PABO) and Social Work (both scoring 76 points), and Nursing (86 points) once again scored above average and have earned the distinction of top programs.

The programs in Theology and the Associate Degree in Didactic Educational Professional also achieved impressive scores of 70 and 73 points, respectively.

A Boost of Motivation

Dirk Wakker and Gerdien Groen, members of the Executive Board at Viaa, are thrilled with the outcome.
